The story we all share
We were created by God and made for relationship with Him. Yet every one of us has chosen our own way. The Bible calls this sin. It reaches beyond individual mistakes and affects our hearts, relationships, choices, and world.
None of us can repair that separation by becoming religious enough, successful enough, or morally impressive enough.
Who Jesus is
Jesus Christ is the Son of God—fully God and fully human. He entered our world, lived without sin, welcomed people others rejected, spoke truth with compassion, and showed us what God is like.
He did not come merely to offer better advice. He came to rescue people who could not rescue themselves.
What Jesus did
Jesus willingly died on the cross, taking upon Himself the judgment our sin deserves. He was buried, and He rose from the dead.
The Christian faith stands on this claim: Jesus is alive, death has been defeated, and forgiveness and reconciliation with God are genuinely available.
Grace, not earning
Salvation is not a reward for good behavior or religious performance. It is a gift of grace received through repentance and faith.
Turning to Jesus means acknowledging our need, trusting what He accomplished, and receiving Him as Savior and Lord. We are not saved because we have earned God’s love. We are changed because He loved us first.
What faith begins
Following Jesus does not mean life instantly becomes easy or that Christians become perfect. It begins a life of forgiveness, growth, truth, transformation, and learning to love God and other people.
Faith is personal, but it is not meant to remain isolated. A healthy local church provides teaching, friendship, accountability, worship, service, and a family in which faith can grow.
You may be uncertain, skeptical, hurt by a church experience, or unsure where you belong. We will not pretend that Christians have always represented Jesus faithfully.
We simply invite you to examine Jesus for yourself. Read one of the Gospel accounts, ask honest questions, and speak with a mature Christian or trusted local pastor who will treat you with patience and dignity.
